ACTION/CUT GRAND PRIZE SHORT FILM AWARD WINNER
|
WHEN
JESSE
WAS BORN"
Directed by
Christopher Petry
Vancouver, Canada
|
"I
highly recommend entering this competition as it offers the
most extensive prize package of any other festival…not even
Sundance offers what Action/Cut provides its shorts winners.
Winning the Action/Cut Grand Prize changed a part of my
life…between actual meetings with agents, producers,
lawyers, pro filmmakers, and the cash awards, and all the
software and so many other prizes which are all geared towards
furthering your career.
This is a major shorts competition and it gave such great
recognition to everyone who worked on this film to win such an
important competition in this country that it put our film in
a completely different light, and we immediately received
distribution offers. It
is an awesome feeling to win Action/Cut!"
